Sister Lawson

Oh boy, One of my dear friends summer lawson is going on a mission. She is going to El Salvador, San Salvador east mission!! I am so proud of her, she has been an amazing influence in my life.




She will be back december of 2012! I Am going to miss her so much, but i know she is going to change so many lives and truly make a difference. I Lived with her for like 9 months, but i have known her for about two years. She and i had so much fun together, we always had our own weird adventures... especially if the boys were involved.. If you know me, you know what boys i am talking about; Austin, Tanner and Hank..


Australia, Hankiss, Sissy wa wa, Ghe Fa, and Speegot.... Don't ask. :)






Whether we were paint balling and trying to get summer, playing COD, going to swig, to enterprise to shoot guns... or get pies.. going to the temple or rio..:) Going on our fun little shopping trips, going to erda to see her fam... Pushing involuntarily into the pool. he he Piling on her big bed to watch a movie with all the boys. Waiting for her to get home... to see which scarf will look best... (inside joke) ha ha We always had so much fun.









I know that sum is going to be a great missionary, she has always been a good example to me, in more ways than one. I know how much she loves this gospel and i have seen her testimony grow right in front of me. No matter what she was going through, she always new where to turn. :) She is a sister to me, She is one of the few i have truly opened up too. She always made it easy to be myself. I know that when she gets to El Salvador, The people are going to fall in love with her. She is a daughter of a king. I know the lord is proud of her and everything she has done in her life. Its weird i am kind of speechless on what to say. There are no words to describe the how proud i am of her.




Sum; i love you! and i plan on being the first person to send you a package... i already have it ready! :) i just need to send it... Lets just say, it has a little of the boys and me in it! To keep you laughing when things get hard. :)

Good luck hun! I promise i will keep in touch.. and i promise i will tell you when the RED SOX are beating the YANKEES! ha ha Love you!





Don't worry, when all is said and done.. We love each other.. ;)

It's a Wonderful Life...

It's interesting to me, as i have grown up and lived on my own.. The choices i make and the person i have become. I am so grateful that my mom and dad were amazing examples to me growing up. I am grateful that they attended church regularly and talked to us about our own testimonies and serving others etc..




As i have been living on my own, I have come to realize that i have my own testimony now, and that i love going to church and reading my scriptures.. Its funny, the other day after class all i could think about was.. " i cant wait till i can go to bed tonight, so i can read my scriptures!" Seriously though, thats what i was thinking.
To me now, the Scriptures aren't just something to read, they are so much more and every time i truly read them i feel the spirit and a sense of peace.

I love my parents and i hope they both know how much they have influenced me to become the person i have wanted to become. I know we all have our ups and downs with our parents, but make sure you don't take them for granted. They do the best they can, and they love you more than you will ever know. I Can only hope that when i am a mother and a wife, that i may be a smidge like my mother. I hope that i may teach my own children the same principles and commandments my mom taught me. I also hope that i can be a good example and that i can be close with my children.





My mom is one of a kind.. She is a lot like me, But it just cracks me up. Because she will do things, and i am always like "mom... your weird" She is so loving and always serves others before she thinks about her self... that is if she even thinks about herself. She always makes sure all of us kids are ok, and she will check in with us... saying.. " call your mother, i haven't talked to you in 5 days!" ha ha i love it. What i love though, is when i come into my mom and dads room at night and my mom is kneeling and saying her prayers, it happens more often than not. I can't wait till the day when my kids say " mom... your weird" ha.






I Love my dad, He is one of the most amazing men in my life. I look to him for answers and for guidance.. He is like a guardian angel to me. He has such a love for the gospel and for sharing it. He is definitely right up there with my mom on the weird scale. :) My dad has always made sure that my siblings and i have gotten every single thing we need, he has never failed our family on providing for us, and taking care of us... plus he makes the best tacos!!



Family is number one in life.. Don't ever let anything destroy it, and if it is breaking... fight with all your will and might to hold it together.


I am grateful for my family, especially my parents and all they do for me. I Have a true testimony of the gospel and i know with all my heart the truth of it. If there is anything i love more, its talking about the gospel. I know i am not perfect and i have made mistakes. But i wouldn't change anything in my life.. I am who i am today for each mistake i have made.. I am the megan i have always wanted to become.
Though this journey isn't easy, it is so worth it.


I am so excited for the day when i will be able to get married in the temple, and start my own family.
